BEMBRIDGE COAST HOTEL Once owned by George V’s Lord in Waiting, Bembridge Coast Hotel overlooks the Solent. And the late Queen Mother came here to watch the yachts racing during Cowes Week. The hotel has a wonderful beach, and is an ideal base for touring the Isle of Wight. Every year, up to 14,000 people visit Thriplow to experience the warm and friendly atmosphere of our Daffodil Weekend charity fundraising event, run entirely by volunteers.  Over two days, visitors walk the car-free village to look at the daffodil displays, visit the attractions and open gardens, and potter around the stalls.
